History
MSE’s story begins in 1969, when the U.S. government awarded the $295M Advanced Surface Missile System (ASMS) Engineering Development Model contract to a team led by RCA’s Missile and Surface Radar Division (a Lockheed Martin predecessor) and that included CSC among its team members. The CSC organization supporting the ASMS (later Aegis) contract continued work on various Aegis projects over the following forty years, ultimately becoming the systems and software engineering powerhouse of CSC’s Defense Group.
In October 2009, CSC separated that engineering team from the remainder of the company and established Mission Solutions Engineering, LLC. MSE was acquired by ASRC Federal Holding Company a year later, in October 2010. As a member of the ASRC Federal family of companies, MSE builds upon our legacy of experience to bring knowledgeable, proven solutions to a wide array of customers. MSE is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, with operations in Moorestown, New Jersey.
